Saturday, July 7, Deerskin River Paddle
Twelve NPT members paddled the Deerskin River east of Eagle River on Sat. July 7th. One could have not asked for a more perfect summer day. The Deerskin meanders through marsh grasses, pine and hemlock forests. Great weather, great river and great people. A successful NPT activity!
Thursday, May 24, Wildflower Hike
Few wildflowers were found but we had a fun time hiking together on this warm day.
Friday, May 11, Giant Pine Trail Hike
Participants met at the Three Lakes Winery and then headed to the Giant Pine Trail for a two-mile hike. The trail featured pine trees hundreds of years old.
Afterwards they walked the boardwalk to Shelp Lake off Scott Lake road. The event finished with a drive to see one of the largest glacial erratic exposed in Wisconsin.
